Some resources that have helped me in my career and I hope they help you too.

Bavatuesdays – a “b” blog – if you know, you know.

Computerphile – a YouTube channel featuring, among others, Dr. Mike Pound at the University of Nottingham. Some of the best foundational computer security tutorials on the internet.

2600 Magazine – Another “IYKYK” joint. I rode with John Draper on an elevator once. I imagine it was like how many people would feel if they rode an elevator with Taylor Swift.

The Soul of a New Machine by Tracy Kidder – it’s pretty hard to really understand the history of computers without reading this book. Very much a “the more things change, the more they stay the same” scenario.

The Manager’s Path by Camille Fournier – this is the book that convinced me that actually, maybe I didn’t want to become a people manager.

“‘I’ve Got Nothing to Hide,’ and Other Misunderstandings of Privacy” by Daniel Solove. This paper from GWU Law came up a few times in my master’s program and was pretty life-changing for me.

GeeksforGeeks – Chances are, if you don’t know it, you can find it here.

There are many others. It’s an evolving list.
